FRANKLINTON —Lance W. Rehberg, 45, resident of Franklinton and longtime Mansfield area resident, died suddenly Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010 at the home of his brother in Mansfield, following an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. The Rev. Dr. Richard Leo Rader will officiate, with interment in Mansfield Memorial Park. Friends may call at Barkdull Funeral Home Wednesday, Dec. 29, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

Born in Ashland, Ohio to Frederick and Joyce (Shaum) Rehberg, he had been a Mansfield-Lexington area resident most of his life, moving to Franklinton in 2008. He was a 23-year employee of CenturyLink as a draftsman and engineer. 

Surviving: two brothers, Derek (Tammy) Rehberg of Mansfield and Vince (Jennifer) Rehberg of Shelby; his twin sister, Lori (David) Barnett of Mansfield; seven nieces and nephews; one aunt; and three cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
