YOUNGSVILLE - Louise Powell Freeman, 90, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 29) at Youngsville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Delitha Caroline Adams Powell and James B. Powell. She farmed and later worked at Northern Wake Hospital for 27 years.

Surviving: daughter, Betty Ruth Hopkins (Freddie) of Youngsville; son, Jimmy Freeman (Debra) of Youngsville; sister, Eula Mae Gregory of Yanceyville; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edward Freeman, and son, Norman Freeman.
