ZEBULON - Cynthia Carol Cooke Evans, 46, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. today (Saturday, Feb. 19) at Union Chapel Baptist Church, with visitation from 1:30 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the New Hope Christian Church cemetery.

A native of Wake County, she was preceded in death by her father, Arvid Alton Cooke.

Surviving: her daughter, Christina Lauren (Matthew) Evans-King of Zebulon; son, Michael Glenwood Evans of Louisburg; parents, Barbara and Grover Davis; sisters, Deborah Davis (Billy) Barbour and Mandy Davis (Eric) Gordon, both of Clayton; brother, Tim (LouAnn) Cooke of Zebulon; and one granddaughter.
