LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Avis “Necie” Holden Burgess, 46, who died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg, with Evangelist Linda Pettiford officiating. Burial will follow in the Roland Chapel church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Courtney Burgess and Jamel Burgess, both of the home; mother, Lucy Holden of Louisburg; father, Nathaniel Stovall of Henderson; brothers, Lawrence Floyd of Newark, N.J., and Chester Fuller of Kittrell; and seven grandchildren.

Open visitation will be from 3 to 8  p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
