DURHAM - Funeral services for Ernest E. Jones, 83, who died Friday, March 25, 2011, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg, with the Rev. Quincy Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Evelyn of the home; son, Ernest E. Jones Jr. of Westland, Mich.; sisters, Janie Carroll of Richmond, Calif., Helen Washington of Raleigh and Christine Arrington of Durham; brothers, Blair Jones of Conway, S.C. and John Jones of Los Angeles, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday at Richardson Funeral Home.
