FRANKLINTON - Jacqueline “Jackie” Wheeler Hedrick Oakley, 70, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at WakeMed. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, April 16) at Franklinton Baptist Church. Entombment will be held at Fairview Cemetery.

She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Willie Clifton Wheeler and Daisy Thelma Cash Wheeler, and was a member of Franklinton Baptist Church.

Surviving: husband, Charles T. Oakley; children, Chris Hedrick (Sandy) of Franklinton and Chad Oakley of Puerto Rico; sisters, Mae Boyer of Pinehurst and Louise Edwards (Leo) of Franklinton; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Curt Hedrick.
