FRANKLINTON - Marie Wilson May Wright, 75, died Wednesday, April 20, at her residence. Funeral services were held Friday morning, April 22, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carl Hunter and the Rev. Gary Vassar officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church cemetery.

She was born in Wake County, daughter of the late Clara Margaret Pearce Wilson and Berlin Taylor Wilson Sr. She was a retired quality control inspector with Weavexx in Wake Forest.

Surviving: husband, Rencher Wright; daughters, Patsy M. Haley and Alma M. Adams; son, Charles May Jr.; sisters, Grace Patterson, Mary Carter (Phil), Vickie Carroll (Dwight); four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dude May; a brother, Buddy Wilson; and two sisters, Florence Hobbs and Louise Wilson.
