LOUISBURG - Ernest H. Perry Jr., 74, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 24, at South Main Street Baptist Church, Louisburg. Burial followed in Cedar Street Cemetery, Louisburg.

Surviving: daughter, Dr. Akua Sarr of Newton, Mass.; sons, Chet Perry of New York, Chad Perry of Durham and Jason Lee Perry of Raleigh; and three grandchildren.
