LOUISBURG - Ruby Mae Dement Ellington, 86, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Franklin Regional Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Centerville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Keith Campbell.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ellington; two daughters, Rose Clark and Cathy Radford; one grandchild; and one brother, Howard Perry Dement.  She was a lifelong member of Centerville Baptist Church. 

Surviving: daughter, Norma Rhodes of Louisburg; son, Bill Ellington (Kaye) of Louisburg; brother, Raymond Dement (Yvonne); six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends Thursday night, May 26, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Centerville Baptist Church Building Fund, 2370 Leonard Road, Louisburg, NC  27549.
