RALEIGH - Eudean “Dean” Young Hagwood, 81, died Monday, June 27, 2011 at the William M. Dunlap Center for Caring. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 29) at Oak Level Christian Church, with the Rev. Gary Williams officiating. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Aileen Hendricks Young and Joseph Ivey Young. She was a lifelong member of Oak Level Christian Church.

Surviving: husband, William Henry Hagwood; sons, Billy Hagwood of Durham and Robert Hagwood of Atlanta; and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Eastern NC, 1305 Navaho Drive, Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27609.
