WAKE FOREST - Dianne Ritter Spacek, 69, died Thursday, July 7, 2011 at her residence. A memorial service honoring her life was held Friday, July 15, at St. Philip Lutheran Church, Raleigh.

She was born in Sellersville, Pa., daughter of the late Mary Funk Ritter and John Rein Ritter, and was preceded in death by her stepson, Chaz Spacek, and her husband, Charles “Chuck” Spacek.

Surviving: daughter, Kelly Spinello of York, Pa.; son, Kevin Christmanof Kimberton, Pa.; sister, Nancy Michaels of New Bern; brother, Kenneth Ritter of Harleysville, Pa.; stepdaughters, Elizabeth Bohannon of Youngsville, Kris Kell of Elizabethville, Pa., and Cindie Heilig of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; 13 step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
