HENDERSON - Mr. Lewis Reginald Feggins, 47, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today (Saturday, Nov. 11) in the chapel of Feggins-Feggins Funeral Service in Wake Forest by Bishop G. W. Brooks, Elder C.J. Dale, the Rev. Joseph Ratliff, Dr. Enoch Holloway, Minister Roy Burroughs, the Rev. Calvin Brooks and the Rev. Daniel W. Lilly Jr. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Henderson.

He was born in South Hill, Va., the son of Lena Phlendia Brooks Feggins and the late Lewis Bobby Feggins. He attended Florida A & M University, North Carolina State University, and Fayetteville Technical College, where he received his degree in mortuary science. Mr. Feggins was the manager of Garnes Funeral Service in Henderson for 25 years.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, Lena Phlendia Brooks Feggins of Wake Forest, are: his wife, Mattie Lorraine Feggins of Henderson; sister, Kristal J. Feggins of Brandywine, Md.; brother, Kevin L. Feggins of Wake Forest; 15 aunts and nine uncles; two great-aunts; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
