LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Mr. Melvin “Grits” Eaton, 47, who died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, at South Main Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Rosby officiating. Burial will follow in the M.H. Jones cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Sarah Eaton; daughters, Natasha Williams of Henderson, Adele Bryan of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Janay Ragland of the home; son, Jevon Bryan of Brooklyn, N.Y.; parents, Leaman and Lucy Eaton of Louisburg; sister, Deborah Eaton of Castalia; brothers, Jerry Eaton of Castalia and Bobby Eaton of Raleigh; and four grandchildren.

Open visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
