FRANKLINTON — Robert Andrew “Bud” Medlin, 60, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, at Wake Medical Center.  Graveside services were held Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Cleveland Harrison officiating.

He was employed with Nines Auto Parts for 25 years.  He was the son of the late Andrew Talmadge and Elsie House Medlin.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Medlin. 

Surviving: son, Robert Nathaniel Medlin  (Shelly) of Henderson; daughter, Jennifer Medlin Ignatz (Anthony “Tony”) of Henderson; sister, Sherry Ann Hoyle of Franklinton; and four grandchildren.
