YOUNGSVILLE —Tommy Reid Young died Monday, Dec. 5, 2011 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

He was born to Joyce M. Taylor Young and the late Willie A. Young in Harrisburg, Pa. He worked as a home arrest monitor for the North Carolina Department of Corrections.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie A. Young, and his brother, Jonathan Dean Young.

Surviving: brothers, James Young (Sue) of Texas, Bill Young (Kathy) of Pennsylvania and Mike Young (Carol) of Youngsville; sister, Donna Brown (Danny) of Fuquay-Varina; nieces and nephews.
