GLEN D. HILL


ZEBULON - Glen David Hill, 83, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012 at WakeMed in Raleigh. Funeral service was held Thursday, Jan. 12, at Zebulon United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

He was born in Baileysville, West Va., to Charlie and Dulcie Hill. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953 and fought in the Korean War. He was a district service manager with Cadillac Motor Company and also worked as parts and service director at Thompson Cadillac-Olds in Raleigh, retiring in 1998.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Jane Hill.

Surviving: sons, Larry Hill of Whiting, N.J., and Darrell Hill of Zebulon; daughter, Anita Konopka of North Adams, Mass.; sister, Janice Williams of St. Albans, W.Va.; and a brother, James Hill of Clearfork, West Va.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
