NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Josephine W. Faison, 83, who died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, were held Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Social Union Baptist Church, with the Rev. Nathaniel Bunn officiating. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Linda Lynch of Castalia; son, Willie “Peanut” Faison of Nashville; sisters, Thelma Lois Allen of New Jersey and Loretta “Pete” Wheless of Louisburg; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
