LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Eleanor “Piggy” Kearney, 55, who died Monday, March 19, 2012, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Hopkins Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: husband, Larry D. Kearney of the home; son, Tracy S. Solomon of Memphis, Tenn.; stepson, Larry D. Kearney Jr. of Raleigh; mother, Shirley M. Lassiter of New York City, N.Y.; sisters, Mary L. White of Louisburg, Shirley Lavern Lassiter of Flint, Mich., and Tammie Lassiter of New York City, N.Y.; brothers, Emanuelle Hugh Lassiter of Louisburg and Miguel Lassiter of New York City, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Saturday, March 24, from 3 to 8 p.m.
