MIDDLESEX - James Bennett “J.B.” Bissette, 82, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012. He was born in Nash County, the son of the late Frank Alphys and Myrtie Patterson Bissette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Carl Ray Bissette; two brothers, A.J. and Bobby Bissette; and one great-granddaughter.

Surviving: wife, Emma Louise Aycock Bissette; daughter, Carolyn Bissette Carson; brothers, Bo, Frank Jr. and Jack Bissette; sisters, Estelle Webb and Ruby Joyner; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren

Visitation was Friday April 6, from 11:00-12:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville.  Funeral service followed in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Butch Gordon of Samaria Baptist Church and Pastor Jonathan Rushing of Real Life Church of Concord officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
