MYRON U. “BUD” TUTTLE


RALEIGH - Myron Uzzle “Bud” Tuttle, 91, died Monday, July 2, 2012. Services to honor his memory were held Friday, July 6, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Raleigh. Private burial for the family followed the service.

He was born in Gastonia to the late Herbert C. and Ruth Tuttle. He joined the U.S. Navy during WWII, serving in the Pacific at Guam. He was an electrician and opened Tuttle Appliance Company in Louisburg and Raleigh, on Person Street, where he and his wife, Margaret, worked until retiring in 1985.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Eakes Tuttle; their son, Robert Myron Tuttle (Beth); brothers, HC, Don, Richard and Bill Tuttle.

Surviving: granddaughter, Margaret Tuttle Powell (Grey); brothers, George Tuttle (Collette), Charlie Tuttle (Cindy); sister, Louise Bowling; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
