HENDERSON - Elizabeth Brewer Hayes, 80, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at New Bethel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Donnie Perkinson and the Rev. Jonathan Owens officiating.

She was born in Vance County, the daughter of the late Garner Brewer and Virgie Stainback Brewer. She was the owner and operator of Commercial Investigating Service and was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church.

Surviving: husband, Perry Rookere Hayes of Henderson; sister, Mattie Brewer Owens of Henderson; four nephews and a niece.
