LOUISBURG - Funeral services for James “Turk” Person, 72, who died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Kittrell, with the Rev. Spencer L. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Alice Person of the home; daughters, Julia Person and Ida Person, both of Henderson, Alice Hiddo of Raleigh, Shirley Jones of Louisburg and Saemica Wilkins of Youngsville; sons, Willie Person, James Person and Danny Person, all of Louisburg, Lee Person of Semora, and Ricky Person of Franklinton; sisters, Angeline Alston of Franklinton and Mariann Dunston of Kittrell; brothers, J. Y. Person, Rivers Person “Mack,” D. Y. Person and Johnny Person, all of Kittrell; 29 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Richardson Funeral Home, Louisburg.
