BEULAH T. PENDER


FRANKLINTON— Beulah Mae Teasley Pender, 84, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2012. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 29, at Kinches Chapel Christian Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. Willie R. Nixon officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

She was born in Granville County to the late Vasser and Georgeanna Pugh Teasley, the youngest of 10 children, all of whom preceded her in death. She was educated in the Granville County public school system.  She was a member of Kinches Chapel Christian Church, where she was a member of the Mother Board, Missionary Board and Senior Choir.

Surviving: sons, Robert I. Teasley of Louisburg, Roger H. Pender (Marguarite), George L. Pender, Tommy Pender (Sandra), all of Franklinton, and Harrell Pender (Linda) of Augusta, Ga.; daughter, Annette P. Lynch (Joe) of Zebulon; 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
