ZEBULON - Bobbie Lou Massey, 78, daughter of the late Prentiss Mitchell and Leo B. Cole Sr., died at her home Wednesday morning, Sept. 12, 2012. Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 14, at Massey Funeral Home, Zebulon. Committal service followed at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

She was a former member of the Zebulon Woman’s Club and the Zebulon Lions Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her brother, Leo B. Cole Jr.

Surviving: husband, George R. Massey Jr.; children, Rigy Massey (Deborah) and Prenby Massey Meyers (David); brother, Sandy L. Cole (Twinkle); one granddaughter; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
