HIGH POINT - Maggie LaRuth Starr, 83, of High Point died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at her residence.

A homegoing celebration was held on Saturday, Sept. 8, at First Emmanuel Baptist Church in High Point.  Her eulogy was rendered by her son, the Rev. Hosie T. Starr, of Franklinton, pastor of Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Louisburg.
