YOUNGSVILLE— Charles Selden “Charlie” Brewer, 63, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 at Maria Parham Medical Center, after a very long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was a recent resident of Kindred Care of Henderson. A graveside service was held Thursday, Sept. 27, at Oak Grove Baptist Church cemetery.

He was born in Camden, N.J. Charlie had been retired for many years because of his physical disability. He served in the United States Army and served one tour of duty in Vietnam in 1969. He was awarded the Purple Heart during that tour.

Surviving: wife, Anita M. Brewer; one nephew and four great-nieces.
