LOUISBURG - Carrie Lee Stallings, 78, died Sunday morning, Dec. 31, 2006. Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Jan. 2, at Corinth Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Stallings was a daughter of the late Edward Samuel and Valona Alston Breedlove Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Stallings.

Surviving: her daughter, Janet S. Cash of Louisburg; sons, Bobby Stallings (Becky), Glenn Stallings (Frances), all of Louisburg; sister, Mavis S. Bryant of Erwin; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements handled by Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg.
