RALEIGH - Foye Vaughan Banks, 96, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012. Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 1, at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, Fuquay-Varina. Interment followed at Montlawn Memorial Park.

Surviving: husband, Edward Banks; daughter, Becky James (Tommy) of Savannah, Ga.,; son, Wade Sapp Jr. (Karin) of Louisburg; sisters, Janet Sowers of Pineville and Fannie Mae Axom of Eden; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
