YOUNGSVILLE —Woody Roberson, 74, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012. Funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 24, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park. 

He was born in Nash County, the son of the late David and Effie Lamm Roberson. He retired from Old Time Pottery after 23 years of service. Following retirement, he opened and ran Woody’s Floral Gallery in Youngsville for eight years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marshall and Burnice Roberson.

Surviving:  two brothers, Eddie Roberson (Peggy) and Harold Roberson (Delia); two nephews; two great-nieces; and two great-nephews.

Flowers will be accepted, but donations to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718 Oklahoma City, Okla. 73123-1718 in honor of Woody Roberson are preferred.
