FRANKLINTON —Doris Henderson Evans, 92, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Fairview Cemetery, Franklinton.

She was born in Franklin County to the late Callie and Pauline Morton Evans and was a long-time member of Union View Baptist Church.

Surviving: brother, Paul Evans (Vonita) of Fayetteville; one sister-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Lindy Evans, and sister, Violet Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doris’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
