FRANKLINTON - Nellie Lane Stroud, 94, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at Louisburg Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 12) at Perry’s Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born in Granville County to the late William and Sally Conyers Lane and was a member of Perry’s Chapel Baptist Church.

Surviving: son, Jackie Stroud (Rose) of Franklinton; one grandson; and two great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Stroud; daughter, Linda Stroud; and one grandson.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service, from 2-3 p.m. at the church.
