SILER CITY - Alice Carolyn Conyers Dugan, 91, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at Galloway Ridge, Pittsboro. A funeral Mass was held Thursday, Dec. 12, at St. Julia Catholic Parrish, 210 Harold Hart Road, Siler City, with Father Jim Fukes officiating.

Burial followed in Chatham Memorial Park, Siler City.

She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of Benjamin Jackson and Haley Pearl (Wright) Conyers. She was a school teacher, a homemaker and a member of St. Julia Parrish.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Michael J. Dugan.

Surviving: daughter, Cathy Dugan of Raleigh; and son, Tim Dugan of Siler City.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Julia Catholic Parrish, 210 Harold Hart Road, Siler City, NC 27344.
