YOUNGSVILLE- Eddie Dean “Fishdawg” Leggett, 44, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012. A memorial funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, Dec. 19) at Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

He was reared in Garner. He worked for Basic Plumbing for many years.

Surviving: wife, Deana McLawhon Leggett; children, Jackson, Isabella and Brooks; brothers, Tommy Kilgore (Janean) of Apex, Jack Leggett of Heflin, Ala.; stepbrother, Anthony Lindsey; mother, Lavinia Brooks Lindsey (Ed) of Kennells Beach; maternal grandmother, Margaret Brooks of Tallapoosa, Ga.; sister, Sharon (Jay) Beadnell; one niece and one nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions for his children. They can be made to Lavinia Lindsey, 767 Kennels Beach Road, Kennels Beach, NC 28529.
