RALEIGH - Siddie Carter Mitchell, 95, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Jan. 13) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sam Gore officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgecrest Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Mitchell was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Lillian Phillips Carter and Robert C. Carter. She was a homemaker.

Surviving: her daughters, Sylvia Carter Ray of Youngsville and Dalma C. Phillips of Raleigh; stepdaughters, Jeanette Allen and Doris C. Bolin, both of Youngsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 2817 Durham Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587.

Friends may visit with the family from 1-2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
