LOUISBURG – Kirby Lane Bennett, 44, of Louisburg, passed away Thursday morning. 

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Hill King United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Family will receive friends Saturday  at  Strickland  Funeral  Home,  Louisburg, from 4 – 5:30 p.m. 

Kirby is survived by his parents, Leo and Barbara D. Bennett; sister, Katrina (David) Boykin; brothers, Karen Leo (Colleen) Bennett, all of Louisburg, Kim (Tammy) Bennett of Raleigh; nephews, Zachary, Cameron and Cody Bennett, all of Raleigh. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hill King U.M.C., c/o Ricky May, 1897 NC 39 Hwy. S., Louisburg, NC 27549.
