EMERALD ISLE - Lucille Perry Privette, 89, formerly of Youngsville, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007 at her home. A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Privette was the owner and operator of Lucille’s Beauty Shop and Lake Donna in Youngsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Perry Privette.

Surviving: daughters, Donna P. Townsend and Dianne P. Starnes, both of Emerald Isle; sisters, Dorothy Matthews and Savon Horton, both of Raleigh, and Evelyn Minor of Cedar Island; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carteret County Hospice, 302 Medical Park Court, Morehead City, NC 28557.
