WAKE FOREST —Rose Bailey Tilley, 73, died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the William M. Dunlap Center for Caring.  Funeral services were held Sunday, July 14, at Glen Royal Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Faile officiating. Burial followed in the Wake Forest Cemetery.

She was born in Wake County to the late George Alexander Bailey and Mary Theresa Julien Bailey. She retired from Corning Glass/AVX Corporation in the accounting department after many years of service.

Surviving: sons, Robbie Lee Tilley (Sherri) of Youngsville and Chris Kane Tilley (Crystal) of Franklinton; stepchildren, Barry Tilley of Clayton and Sheryl Moon of Garner; and four  grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin E. “Bobby” Tilley.
