LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Edgar Lee Watson Sr., 73, who died Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, will be held Friday, Aug. 23, at 1 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Watson family cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Viola Watson of the home; daughters, Norma Watson of Chesapeake, Va., and Eurman Acevedo of North Carolina; sons, Edgar Watson Jr. of Chesapeake, Va., Glenn Watson of Wilmington, Del., and Steven E. Watson of Suffolk, Va.; brother, Rufus Watson Sr. of Enfield; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
