Funeral services for Bobby Louis Bowden, 50, who died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Ambassadors for Christ. Burial will follow in M. H. Jones Cemetery. Rev. Geraldine Reynolds will officiate.

Survivors include his wife, Cherry Bowden of the home; three daughters, Bretney and Stella Bowden of the home and Anita Bowden of Greensboro; a son, Gregory McKnight of Louisburg; his father, Robert Bowden of Burlington; two sisters, Lela Bowden and Cara Bowden of Louisburg; a brother, Ronald Bowden of Raleigh and five grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 27, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
