BUTLER D. WILLIAMS


RALEIGH - Butler David Williams, 90, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007.

Funeral service was Thursday, Feb. 8, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest. Interment followed at the Finch family cemetery on Six Forks Road, Raleigh.

He was born in Franklin County to the late Richard Thomas Williams and Maude Mae Gupton. He was a graduate of Gold Sand High School, Louisburg.

He worked as an accountant at the North Carolina Equipment Co. for 62 years.

Surviving: daughters, Deloris W. Horton (J.C. Jr.) of Garner and Gloria Gail Williams of Clayton; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Mildred Edna Perry Williams, he was predeceased by his brothers, Durwood, Roger, Louis, Toga, Bill and Gene; his sister, Lola; and an infant brother at birth.
