LOUISBURG — Madeline Smith Wester, 88, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at Louisburg Manor.  Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 6, at 3 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Chapel.  Burial followed in Lancaster Memorial Park.

She was born to the late Chester and Mamie Ayscue Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Burt Wester, and a son William Harold Wester.

Surviving: sons, Kenneth Burt (Dorothy) Wester of Louisburg, Oliver Thomas (Charlette) Wester of Louisburg, Ralph (Rose) Wester of Williamsboro;  brothers, Chester Smith and Jimmy Smith; and one sister, Janie Kemp; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 6, at Lancaster Funeral Chapel.  Burial followed in Lancaster Memorial Park.
