YOUNGSVILLE —Henry Walter (Wally) Ward Jr., 85, died Jan.  29, 2014, at his home in Youngsville.

Wally moved to the United States in 1950 and married his wife, Dorothy Battle Ward, in 1957.

Surviving: his wife, Dorothy Battle Ward; three children; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, David.

A memorial service will be held on Feb. 15 at 11 a.m. at Franklinton United Methodist Church, 109 N. Main St., Franklinton. The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
