APEX - Funeral services for Ervin Ward, 54, who died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, with the Rev. Milton Solomon officiating. Burial will follow in the New Zion AME Zion Church cemetery in Robbins, N.C.

Surviving: wife, Lucinda Ward of the home; daughter, Roshelle Barrett of the home; sons, Rashad Barrett of Apex and SharRon Barrett of Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.; father, Joseph Edmunds of Baltimore, Md.; sisters, Daphene Solomon of Littleton, Macy Brown of Indianapolis, Ind., Catherine Barber, Regina Missouri and Pattie Bowman, all of Baltimore, Md., and Cheryl Dunston of Bunn; brothers, Cecil Powell of Durham, Joseph Edmonds Jr. and Edward Edmonds, both of Baltimore, Md.; and five grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
