LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Joe “Vnni” Williams, 79, who died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, will be held Saturday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at Haywood Baptist Church, with the Rev. Douglas Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Shirley Williams of the home; daughters, Andrea of Boston, Mass., Denice Thompson of Newark, N.J., Jackie Johnson of Willingboro, N.J.; sons, Darrell Nicholson of Greensboro, Stanley White of Newark, N.J.; sisters, Bertha Mae Epps of Louisburg and Cora Best of Midlothian, Va.; brothers, Jimmy Williams of Midlothian, Va., Hurley Williams Jr. of Louisburg and Douglas Brown of Wake Forest; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 7.
