LOUISBURG - Magdalene Thompson Seaman, 92, died Friday, April 25, 2014, at Wake Medical Center. Funeral services were held Monday at Centerville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dave Bundy officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She was born to the late Sam and Cora Thomas Thompson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Seaman.

She was a lifelong member of Centerville Baptist Church where she served as secretary and historian for many years.

Surviving: daughter, Cora Ann S. Beam; sister, Doris Shearon; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her sister-in-law.
