FRANKLINTON —Randy William Jernigan, 46, a former resident of Franklinton, died Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Wendell. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 30, in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford by the Rev. Jimmy Pulley. Burial was in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Durham.

A native of Durham County, he was the son of William Elvis Jernigan and Wilma Wiseman Gray. He was of the Baptist faith and was a painter most of his life.

Surviving: parents, Pops and Wilma Wiseman Gray of Franklinton; sisters, Theressa Budds of Tennessee, Jeniene Wrenn of Holden Beach, Pam Williams of Jacksonville, Shelia Gray of Creedmoor; brothers, Kenneth Keith of Tennessee, Tom Keith of Garland and Benjie Jernigan of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Marie Gray.
