YOUNGSVILLE - Betty Grey Cronic Daves, 84, died Saturday May 3, 2014 at Hillside Nursing Center. Graveside funeral services were held Monday afternoon, May 5, in Raleigh Memorial Park.

She was born in Guilford County to the late Charlie Cronic and Edna Michaelson Cronic.

Surviving: sons, Gaylan Grey Daves (Linda) of Raleigh and Dana Drew Daves (Ann) of Raleigh; daughter, Angela Charlene Daves of Youngsville; four grandchildren,; and numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cager Daves.
