Family/Friends Day
Perry’s Missionary Baptist Church, Centerville, will observe Family and Friends Day on Sunday, May 19, during the 11 a.m. worship service.
Guest speaker will be Sister Catherine Alston Simmons from Union Baptist Church, Durham. Music will be provided by the Perry’s All-Male Choir.

Women’s Day
Zion Spring Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ, Inc.), 309 Warren Avenue, Bunn, will have its annual Women’s Day service on Sunday, May 19, at 11 a.m.
Guests will be Pastor Mary Hinton and the Glory Cloud Tabernacle Church of Zebulon.

Chorus anniversary
The Old Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Male Chorus will celebrate its 61st anniversary on Sunday, May 19, at 3 p.m. Various male choruses and quartets in the community will be participating. Master of ceremonies will be the Rev. Toney Kearney.
The church is located at 1857 Flat Rock Church Road, Youngsville.

Birthday celebration
Westminister Evangelistic Church #2, 700 Kenan Road, Louisburg, will have a birthday celebration service for its pastor, Bishop Louis Witherspoon, on May 17 at 7:30 p.m. The service is sponsored by the Pastor’s Aide Ministry.

Special services
Holy Trinity Church will celebrate its 31st Church Anniversary and 13th Pastor’s Anniversary, beginning Sunday, May 19, at 11 a.m. Associate Bishop Larry R. Hailes from Holy Trinity Church in Virginia will be the speaker.
On Friday night, May 24, at 7:30 p.m., Missionary Adrianne Etheridge from Holy Trinity Church in Virginia will be speaking.
On Sunday, May 26, at 11 a.m., Elder Columbus Burrell from Richmond, Va. will be the speaker.

Women’s Day
Hawkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 2199 Grove Hill Road, Franklinton, will celebrate Women’s Day on Sunday, May 19, at 11 a.m. (the men honoring the women). Colors for men and women are black and/or white.
Guest speaker will be the Rev. Cullus Dunston of Franklinton Seventh Day Adventist Church. Music will be by the Male Chorus.

Choir anniversary
The Evangelist Choir of Pilot Missionary Baptist Church, 20 Avon Brantley Road, Zebulon, will celebrate its 8th singing anniversary on Sunday, May 19, at 4 p.m.

Free Clothes/Food
The Hickory Grove Baptist Church Willing Workers Ministry will sponsor a free clothes and food give-away on Saturday, May 18, beginning at 8 a.m.

Women’s Day
New Liberty Baptist Church will have its annual Women’s Day observance on Sunday, May 19, during the 11 a.m. worship service.
The speaker will be Sister Renee Batchelor Crosson, First Lady of Jones Hill Baptist Church  and New Liberty Baptist. The Women’s Day Choir will render the music.

Missionary service
A missionary service will be held at Luther Chapel Holiness Church in Castalia on Sunday, May 19, at 4 p.m.
Mistress of ceremonies will be Minister Earnestine Hawkins. Apostle E. Arrington will be preaching. The Luther Chapel Gospel Choir and New Destiny will be singing.

Revival
Revival services will be held May 19-22 at 7 p.m. at Centerville Baptist Church. The Rev. Gary Williams will be the guest speaker and there will be special music each night.

Gospel sing
Bunn United Methodist Church will host the Town of Bunn Centennial Celebration Gospel Sing on May 18 from 12 to 4 p.m., on the church’s back lawn. Bring a chair or blanket.

Choir anniversary
The South Main Street Baptist Church of Louisburg Youth Choir will celebrate its 29th anniversary on Sunday, May 19, at 4 p.m.
Guest choirs will include Concord Baptist Youth Choir, Faith Baptist Youth Choir, First Baptist Church of Franklinton Youth Choir, and praise dancing by Santora Taylor.

EOG Prep
South Main Street Baptist Church, Louisburg, will hold an EOG Prep on May 21, 23 and 28-30 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served each night. May 31 will be fellowship night and dinner will be served for participants.
