Grief and loss session
The Health & Wellness Ministry of Kinches Chapel Christian Church, led by Sister Betsy Smith-Edwards, is having a grief and loss session Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. - noon. Lunch will be provided.
This will be an interactive session to better understand the stages and types of grief. Learn healthier ways to find comfort and healing during difficult times.
Blaise Harris of G. Squared Consulting & Counseling Services is leading the session.
The location of the event is 1055 Gordon Moore Rd. The event is free and open to everyone. Call the church at (919) 494-5137 to register. Registration is encouraged, but not required.

Guest speaker
The Rev. Benjamin Jenkins, Associate Minister at the Allen Baptist Church, will be the guest speaker at the Haywood Baptist Church, 149 Rocky Ford Rd., Louisburg, on Sunday, April 14, during the 11 a.m. worship service.

Free Community Meal third Wednesday
There will be an Open Table free community meal at Louisburg United Methodist Church, Wednesday, April 17 from 5:30-6:45 p.m. Join LUMC for a free hot meal and dinner around the table.
This is Dinner Church, LUMC's Open Table, a new way of worship rooted in a very old way of worshiping, gathering people at a table to eat and worship together. Children's activities available, and there will be a Jesus story and live music. Everyone is welcome.
The community meal is held the third Wednesday of each month. Location is at the corner of Noble and Main streets, Louisburg, use the Noble Street entrance.
