Homecoming/Revival
Manasseh Chapel Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming on Sunday, Aug. 2, during the 11 a.m. worship service. Pastor Tunstall will preach and the Mills-Perry Family Choir will be singing.
Revival services will be held Wednesday-Friday, Aug. 5-7, at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Waverly Mills Jr. of Philadelphia Baptist Church of Bullock, N. C. will be the guest speaker.

Chorus anniversary
The South Main Street Baptist Church Male Chorus will celebrate its anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 2, at 3 p.m. Guests are the Concord Baptist Male Chorus, the Old Liberty Baptist Male Chorus and the Gospel Travelers.

Revival
Revival services at Faith Missionary Baptist Church began Monday, July 27, and will continue through Friday, July 31.
The speakers for the two remaining services are as follows: Thursday night, Pastor Anthony Alston of Jones Chapel of Warrenton; Friday, Pastor Samuel Tunstall of Manasseh and Union Grove.

Homecoming/Revival
Jones Chapel MBC, Warrenton, will observe their annual Homecoming service on Sunday, Aug. 2, at 11:15 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Anthony Q. Alston Sr., pastor, delivering the message. Lunch will be served immediately following service.
Also, revival services will be held Aug. 3-7, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. The following guest speakers are scheduled: Monday, Pastor Melvin Jackson, Mitchiner's Grove, Louisburg; Tuesday, Pastor John Barham, Jordan Chapel, Warrenton; Wednesday, Pastor Andre Gileard, First Baptist, Kittrell; Thursday, Pastor Audrey Hedgepeth, Greater Love Christian, Rocky Mount; Friday, Pastor Timothy Walker, Walnut Grove Baptist, Louisburg.

Beach trip
A group from New Birth Christian Church of Franklinton recently traveled to Carolina Beach for a day of fun, fellowship and relaxation. The day began with breakfast in Raleigh, after which the group departed for Wilmington and Carolina Beach where members engaged beach activities, shopping at local malls, lunch on the beach, and amusement park activities. Following a buffet dinner in Wilmington, the group headed back home, grateful for a safe and enjoyable trip.

Baptismal services
Baptismal services will be held at Hawkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 2199 Grove Hill Road, Franklinton, on Sunday, Aug 2, during the 11 a.m. worship service. The message will be delivered by the Rev. Kenneth Williams, pastor, and music will be by the Hawkins Senior Choir.

Homecoming
New Liberty Baptist Church will celebrate its annual Homecoming service on Sunday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. Pastor Jamil Crosson will deliver the message and the Homecoming Choir will sing. Dinner will be served.

Special service
On Aug. 2 at 3 p.m., the Deaconess Ministry of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 267 E.F. Cottrell Road, Louisburg, will sponsor a One Hundred Women's Day service.
Guest speaker will be Minister Lois Davis from New Level Community Church, Louisburg, accompanied by her choir and congregation.

Homecoming/Revival
Homecoming services will be held at Lee's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Littleton, on Sunday, Aug. 2, at 10:45 a.m., with the pastor, Jeffrey Anderson, bringing the message.
Revival services at Lee's Chapel will be held Tuesday-Friday, Aug. 4-7, at 7:30 nightly. The Rev. Dwight Gill from New Hope Baptist Church in East Orange, N. J., will be the revival speaker.

Giveaway
Westminister Evangelistic Church #2, 700 Kenan Road, Louisburg, will be sponsoring its annual "Giveaway" on Saturday, Aug. 1, starting at 10 a.m. If you would like to donate items for the giveaway, contact Missionary Sheila Davis at (919)494-5125.

100th Anniversary
This Sunday, Aug. 2, Hickory Rock Baptist Church, 1580 Firetower Road, will celebrate its 100th Anniversary.
The 10 a.m. hour will be a time of sharing memories, pictures and stories. The worship service will be at 11 a.m., giving thanks for the past, present and future. A pot-luck lunch will follow.
