LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Simon Harris Jr., 73, who died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at St. Paul Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the Haywood Church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Bernice Harris; daughters, Barbara Waters, Sandra Harris and Glenda Harris, all or Portland, Ore., Patricia Alston of Louisburg, and Mary Boone of Waldorf, Md.; sons, Samuel Harris, Steven Harris and Mitch Harris, all of Portland, Ore., Larry Kearney of Los Angeles, Calif., Ronnie Harris, Donnie Harris and Chris Harris, all of Louisburg; 23 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
