DUNN - Roy Harold Moore, 70, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Rex Hospital. A funeral service was held Friday, May 30, at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Charles Price and the Rev. Turner Matthews.

He was born in Franklin County to the late Roy Thomas and Lessie Harris Moore. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Moore.

He retired from Kelly Springfield where he was a splicer.

Surviving: wife, Polly Howard Moore; a son, Danny Dickens (Renee) of Erwin; a daughter, Michelle Kirkland (Chris) of Charlotte; three grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to South Erwin Baptist Church, 144 Old Cut-Off Road, Erwin, NC 28339.
